Why Film & Smart Surface Solutions?

The films business (formerly MacDermid Autotype) of MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is aligning with MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions to form a new business unit - Film & Smart Surface Solutions.

Within MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, we have 3 business segments: Circuitry Solutions, Semiconductor & Assembly Solutions and Film & Smart Surface Solutions.

Together, we are a group of scientists who are experts in chemistry and materials. All striving to enhance performance, reliability, and differentiation of systems in the electronics supply chain. As one organization, we work collaboratively not only to enhance existing products but to find beneficial synergies among our offerings from different segments or lines of business to develop products for the future.

Having access to a wider range of expertise is delivering better solutions for you. In the upcoming weeks, I will show you how we look at the materials and the path to qualifying them for end use. You will get a peek into how we navigate the development process and how joining expertise from different segments delivers a broader understanding for system level solutions.
